One developer, me. Not a company, not VC-backed, and not a groomer myself. I got into this because I watched people in the trade get nickel-and-dimed by tools that wedge themselves between them and their clients, so I asked a lot of groomers what they actually needed and I'm building exactly that.
No, never. The app does not touch your money, on purpose. You mark invoices paid by cash or transfer, or drop in your own payment link. The money goes from your client straight to you. I make money one honest way: a flat subscription.
